The Ryan School of Irish Dance teaches both traditional and contemporary styles of Irish Dance.  Under the direction of Sheila Ryan-Davoren, founder and artistic director, the school has been in operation since 2003.  Sheila, a champion dancer and performer from the world renowned ‘RIVERDANCE the SHOW’, is an accredited teacher with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha in Dublin Ireland with over 15 years of teaching experience. 

The Ryan School is mainly a non-competitive Irish Dance School, performing at various venues, concerts and fundraisers throughout the Acadiana area.  Classes are offered in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana and students range from ages 5 to Adult, beginner through advanced, both male and female.
